About the Author
Robert Thurman holds the first endowed chair in Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University. A founder of Tibet House New York, an organization dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture, he is the bestselling author of Inner Revolution.
Denise Patry Leidy is an associate curator in the department of Asian art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the author of several books on Asian art including Defining Yongle: Imperial Art in Fifteenth Century China.

Scholarly, Deep and Comprehensive

This is a deep book, tons of research, and way deeper than a high school art class needs to go. Nonetheless, it is in my shelf of content resources in the art room. The cover picture is indicative of the many, many good images inside.
