OMG! Because He Takes Me is the second book in the seductive new series, Because He Owns Me, by Hannah Ford and may I just say - WOW! Like really, really WOW! I began reading Ford's work a few months ago when I discovered her What He Wants Series. She seems to specialize in serialized multi-installment novels with each release being the equivalent of one or two chapters totaling 35 to 50 pages each. I find that I actually enjoy this concept very much as long as the books are released weekly or bi-monthly and hers generally are. Each book is a short quick read and perfect for what I like to call a palette cleanser - something to stop sensory overload, relax my mind and enjoy in between heavy, full-length novels. Ms Ford is exceptionally talented in crafting realistic stories with complex characters and suspenseful plot twists. She also excels at maintaining the momentum of the story throughout the entire book without having to use empty filler dialogue to pace the continuation of the plot. If it's there, you better believe it means something and will be important to the story at some point. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. The story is exciting, enchanting, romantic, seductive and arousing. The dialogue is exceptionally well written in the first person with alternating his and her points of view although the main pov seems to come from the female lead of the story. The characters are captivating, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. Ford skillfully combines these elements into a delightfully entertaining cocktail of adult romance with a sensual twist of BDSM. Hubba! Hubba!

Book One: This story features recent college graduate Adriana O'Connor who has recently moved from Michigan to New York City to find a job, hopefully in a publishing house and start her new life. Although not unfamiliar with the ways of the world, she is quite naive. And apparently, she is also quite submissive as is quickly discovered by handsome, charismatic billionaire Callum Wilder, CEO and Founder of Wilder Holdings, LLC. Adriana has agreed to meet Nathan, whom she met on a dating app, for a blind date at Whipped, a club located in Midtown Manhattan. Nathan is a no-show and leaves the lovely Adriana waiting alone. Adriana is totally unaware that whipped is a BDSM Light Club and is caught totally off guard when she catches the eye of someone else... someone dark, handsome and much more experienced...someone who wants to dominate and own her...for only one night. What? One night??? Handsome billionaire Callum Wilder is immediately taken with the innocent young beauty sitting alone in the bar but Callum does not date nor does he do relationships. So what does he want with the lovely, innocent Adriana??? Well. he wants one night only of complete possession and mind-blowing sex! What??? Yep, one night and what arrogant and self assured Callum Wilder wants, he pursues and conquers - for one night only, of course! Oh my! She ran away from him at the club and tried to put the entire incident out of her mind. But apparently it was never out of Callum's mind because somehow he finds her the very next day and all but demands that she join him for lunch. Of course it's not a lunch date because the arrogant Callum Wilder doesn't do dates. Riigghhtt.......not a date then!!! He's determined to have her and still wants her to submit to him for one night. Can he convince her to reconsider and accompany him on a business trip to Florida where he intends to have his wicked way with her - for only one night, of course! Nope, she refuses his offer until........Well, I'll never tell! Yep, the unworldly Adriana is definitely in way over her head with the sophisticated, charming and very dominant Callum Wilder and if she isn't careful, she may just find herself swimming with a shark! Oh my gracious! Buckle up my lovelies! Here we go again! This is the one we've been waiting for.....Does she or doesn't she??? And who is Rose??? I'm dying to know! I can hardly wait for the next installment! Deliciously seductive, seriously sexy, completely captivating and wonderfully entertaining! What more could you ask of a great read? Not a darn thing!!!

Too good and too short

This story just gets better with every page. Cullum invited Adriana for a weekend in Florida with a contract for one night of sex. She's not supposed to ask him any questions but amazingly he spent hours asking her about her life and why she wants to work in publishing. It's not surprising that when they get back home he sends her off with a " nice to have met you". While she knew this was his way, she's still hurt and angry. It's evident that she's young and inexperienced while he's been picking up women and walking away for a long time.
I am interested in seeing what her job interview brings about and why Cullum arranged it.....because you know that he did. No one gets a job interview at a company they never applied to.

Adriana is a somewhat naive, recent college grad. Callum is a twenty-eight-year-old billionaire entrepreneur. They meet, they set off on a one-night tryst that surprises and amazes Adriana. She begins to see the many facets that make up the man that Callum is. Some she likes and some she cannot begin to understand. Callum is amazed that Adriana had only been in the city two days before they met. She is unemployed and seeking a job in publishing. In spite of his usual contract with submissives, could Callum be attempting to help Adriana find a position? Stay tuned for the next segment of the series.

Criminal Minds follows an elite team of FBI criminal analysts, known as the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), as its members travel the country working to solve grisly murder mysteries and arrest the serial killers responsible for them.

Criminal Minds premiered amid a rush of other crime-solving programs such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Crossing, Law & Order: SUV, and Medium, many of which were also broadcast on CBS. Given this context, the immediate task for Criminal Mindsthe latest newcomer to the television-crime-scene-investigation crazewas to somehow set itself apart from the crowd. To accomplish this, the show relied on both its cast of actors and its focus on psychological profiling.

MEET THE AUTHOR

Charles Limley is a native of Colorado. After earning bachelors degrees in both English Literature and Humanities from the University of ColoradoBoulder, he entered the world of professional writing. In portraying these crimes, each episode of Criminal Minds becomes its own mini-narrative placed within a larger overall story in which the BAU team works together to become not only a professional team, but a personal team as well. As the season unfolds, characters personal struggles, fears, and doubts are revealed, and as they are, teammates must figure out how best to help each other. In this way, the members of the BAU team are constantly focused on providing relief and help to those in need, despite being surrounded by a world of deranged, senseless, and bloody killings.

This fundamental theme is attested to by Agent Gideon in episode 6, L.D.S.K., when he reminds Agent Reid that for a psychological profiler, the most effective weapon is the ability to empathizeto humanize an unsubs victim (TV.com, Criminal Minds: Episode Guide).

Gideon tells Reid that only by reversing the dehumanizing effects of crime and murder, returning to the victims their dignity and worth as individuals, can an effective and accurate profile of the perpetrator be constructed. Thus, solving crimes and arresting serial killers is ultimately an act of recognizing and maintaining the value inherent in each individual victim...

Awesome Guide!

This is an excellent viewer's guide for "Criminal Minds Season 1!" It gives easy-to-read and accurate summaries of all the episodes, especially stories that spill over into multiple episodes. I'm a huge fan of Criminal Minds, but it's easy to get lost if you miss a couple episodes. With Limley's guide I was able to get all caught up so I could better follow whatever episode I'm watching. Plus, all the extra facts about the actors, the show, and even real crimes included in this book help me have a way better time watching the show. I plan on checking out the rest of Hyperink's guides, and especially the other CM quicklets by Charles Limley!

These guys are so up, have painted so much, I have never seen a graff book that has me feeling so insignificant. If you paint or painted these two do more in 2 weeks then your whole career. OHHHH MYYYY GOOOD!!!! This book is astounding.I wasnt too sure how it was going to be when i baught it.I am a train painting fanatic and this sure as hell did not dissapoint..The book is huge.it has countless panels,wholecars etc on EVERY SINGLE PAGE..There are more flicks in this book than what one would find on every graff site on the internet..Quality pictures,quality painting on just about every single subway system in europe..i am amazed.lots of reading too about some of the missions and people they encountered..this one is a must for any train painters collection...10/10 a+++++++++++++++++++++!!!!

About the Author
Charllotte Kwon is director of the Maiwa Textile Symposium, owner of Maiwa Handprints Ltd, and director of the Maiwa Foundation. In 2002 she curated an exhibition of tribal embroideries from the Kutch Desert.

Tim McLaughlin is a professional photographer and writer. In collaboration with Charllotte Kwon he has edited and codirected four documentary films.

Rosemary Crill is a Senior Curator in the Asian Department at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
